Paris e Barcellos Corretora de Seguros was born in April 2013 in the city of Criciúma, being part of the biggest independent insurance brokers network in Brazil (Rede de Corretores de Seguros Independentes do Brasil), Rede Lojacorr.

Its founder, Péricles Barcellos, has been working in the insurance market for more than 20 years where he had worked as a manager in big Insurance Companies before he became an insurance broker.

Another big insurance broker came to contribute in June 2017: Gilmar Glashorester has worked as an insurance agent for about 30 years.

With this consolidated and established partnership our name became PG Barcellos Corretora de Seguros.

Digital certificate

The Digital Certificate is the digital identification for legal and natural persons on electronic media. It assures you authenticity, secrecy, integrity and non-rejection in the operations that are carried out with it, with legal validity attributed.

e-ITIN: It’s the natural person’s digital identification (through their Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) on electronic media and it can be used to sign documents with the Brazilian Inland Revenue/ Internal Revenue Service and get the services supplied by the state and federal governments under way. In Brazil, it’s called CPF (Cadastro de Pessoa Física).

e-EIN: It’s the legal person’s digital identification (through their Employer Identification Number) on electronic media, which enables the authentication in public or private systems on behalf of the company. In Brazil, it’s called CNPJ (Cadastro Nacional de Pessoa Jurídica).

e-Invoice: It’s aimed to the issuance of electronic invoices and it can be attributed to the employee.

There are two types of Digital Certificates:

A1 Certificate – it’s issued and stored on the computer or on a mobile device (smartphone or tablet). It expires within a year.

A3 Certificate – it’s issued and stored in an encrypted medium (Card, Token or Cloud). It expires within 1-5 years.
